Vernissage URKNALL & SILENCE

Autorenbild: artcraftlivingartcraftliving

German version:

"BIG BANG & SILENCE" is the title of the vernissage with works by the Hamburg artist Michael Sazarin in the Grace Denker Gallery. On March 2, 2018, around 100 guests admired Sazarin's large-format, abstract paintings and were impressed by the depth of the works. They did not encounter any clear motifs, but rather ideas and hints, in keeping with Sazarin's motto: "paint puzzles from solutions."

In a short speech at the beginning of the event, Grace Denker described how she had visited the artist in his studio a few months ago and was deeply touched by her impressions and experiences: "His works exuded the story of years of hard work," and continued: "His paintings are his children, his true passion."

Afterwards, André Vidal, a supportive friend of the artist, spoke about his ongoing enthusiasm and fascination with Sazarin's enigmatic images, which invite one to develop one's own stories and thoughts.

In the entrance area and in the large, central room of the gallery there are motifs from the "maritime" department with the dominant colors orange, red, black and white. In the smaller rooms to the left and right there are more colorful floral motifs as well as sketches of different torsos.

"The gallery immediately looks completely different," says one visitor enthusiastically. "There's something completely new every time."

The exhibition "URKNALL & STILLE" can be visited until March 30, 2018. Visits by appointment via email (info@artcraftliving.com) or Mon-Fri from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

English version:

"URKNALL & STILLE" ("Big Bang & Silence") is the name of the vernissage with works by Hamburg artist Michael Sazarin in the Grace Denker Gallery. On the 2nd of March 2018, around a hundred guests witnessed the large, abstract paintings and were thrilled about their depth as they don't picture clear motifs, but rather leave space for their own ideas. The artist's credo: "turn solutions into riddles."

In a short speech, Grace Denker described her visit to Sazarin's atelier a few months ago. It left her deeply moved and impressed: "His works eluded years of hard work, dedication and ardor... His paintings are his children, his true passion."

Shortly after that, André Vidal, a supportive friend of the artist, spoke about his continuous enthusiasm and fascination for Sazarin's works and their mysterious touch that leads the observer to create their own stories and their own ideas.

Right in the entrance area, as well as in the biggest room in the center of the gallery, maritime motifs have found their place. Paintings from the category "floral" and sketches depicting several torsos are placed inside of the smaller rooms.

"The paintings really have an effect on the gallery", a visitor happily exclaims. "Every exhibition is something new and something special here."

The exhibition "URKNALL & STILLE" is open until the 30th of March 2018 and can be visited Mon-Fri from 9am to 3pm or after consultation via e-mail (info@artcraftliving.com).
